My sound quit working after it first overheated and Reset did not bring it back. I had to restart the sim. Can't repeat this. *I can't duplicate this. When I choose frictionless, I get the skate board, no friction arrow shows up and the x-y graph shows no friction; however, the bar graphs accumulate work due to friction and the ramp still overheats. *Yes, energy is still lost in collisions with the wall. The new position slider has very strange behavior. I set it to 4 meters and the angle to 45 degrees (I have the cabinet on the skateboard). I press go and it creates a constant applied force? The guy pushes the cabinet to 4 meters, then it rolls down to the wall, then he pushes it back up. Back and forth. This is the only case I've found where the heat doesn't build up. I think the sim just resets each time he goes down. The weird thing is that while it's doing this, it only crashes every few times that it gets to the brick wall and eventually it starts to build up heat and then after a while the overall heat goes back down. I think it's possessed! *You have probably inadvertently set a nonzero applied force earlier in the run. I'd actually prefer to move the Go and clear buttons along the left edge centered about the y=0 part of the graph if we could. Right now Go sort of gets lost between the other stuff. This is why Kathy was hoping to put the Go and clear buttons lined up vertically and to the left of the graph. Then they won't get lost. I realize that real estate is precious but right now Go isn't being noticed and clear confuses people. You've changed the layout of the graphs nicely so that I think we could afford to lose a bit of their length right now. *What does Danielle think about this after interviews with students?
