Sam Reid PhET Progress Report 5-16-2006 I started my summer hours on Monday of this week. Here's a pie chart of my work distribution for the week: http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/tests/progress-reports/piechart-5-15-06.gif For each project, see the link for detailed change notes & remaining todo's. Wave Interference http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/waveinterference/0.00.12/ QWI http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/schrodinger/0.00.63/ Energy Skate Park http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/ec3/0.00.19/ Faster Application Startup Design & Feasibility tests for Lazy Module Loading CVS Outage Started Ron using automated build, compression and deployment scripts. Future: 1. I'd like to meet with the Wave Interference team (Wendy & Noah P) to discuss the remaining todo's. 2. There are a few remaining QWI requests that would be nice to have, and sound like they would be easy to program, but are not (the application has unnecessary complexity that inhibits work here). We should discuss how to prioritize these items. For details, please see (e.g. the top 2 items): http://www.colorado.edu/physics/phet/dev/schrodinger/0.00.63/todo.txt 3. There are several requests for energy-conservation (Wendy had lots of good ideas for this). 4. I'd like to work on Faster Application Startup. 5. I'd like some time to discuss build automation with Chris, if he's interested.
