The simulation resolution defaults have been set to:

• grid resolution=60
• time step=2

Resolution controls have been delegated to an expanding button in the control panel.
Resolution controls are labeled 'grid resolution' and 'time step'.

Beam intensity is labeled in units of particles/second. 
Please note that this is machine-dependent (the values are for my machine), and that if you have a potential barrier, many particles may be deflected.
